what i understand is that intelligence funds mainly are for the military and defense activities. please correct me if i am wrong.

i was on my way to work by fx when the driver tuned up the radio to saksi station anchored by mike enriquez. he was deliberating about the proposed annual government budget for next year particularly on the appropriation of a so called "intelligent fund" of executive offices.

i grimaced upon hearing that DOTC is being allocated with some million of intelligent fund. the following are some of the government branches with such questionable budget:

        Office of the President - 650 million??? (The heck…maybe the president will use it for counterintelligence against the opposition and against the government critics…or maybe, to hire gunmen to pin down all activists…or maybe, her budget for the next election…what do you think?)

       Office of the Vice President - 6 million???…(i just wonder where he will use that money…maybe for searching where to house the poor Filipinos..)

      DOTC, DENR, Office of the Ombudsman, DND (125 million) and take note DOLE?????!!!!!

i wonder why the Commission of Audit who will trace all of teh government expenses was not appropriated with such funds…the DND was only given a penny of amount compared to the Office of the President, where supposedly, they are the institution who is established to perform such duties….
