no principle at all???

i were brainstorming with a friend yesterday as we were sitting near the parking place of my dormitory….

we were having conversation anything under the sun—relationships, dreams, failures, career and family. out of the way, he commented that i have no principle…how come?

i were really astonished upon hearing that..does it mean that i had lived my life stupidly? i have uttered words out of ignorance???…more, i have graduated from up without learning anything???

i asked him how come he said that to me…well, he said,i observed that you really have the passion for community service..well and good, in my mind i were  talking..but, he continued, you seemed not to wish for material wealth!!!

talking about wealth. whats the connection of being rich in achieving my vision?

is money the only thing that people need?…i really dont understand why he called me a person with no principle…

People like us need not to explain ourselves further. In these world where materialism is being hailed like gods, let’s be thankful that there are still few who manage to see beyond the luster. As what Edmund Burke had said, “The only thing for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Echo the voices of the oppressed and never stop.

sis, maybe, just maybe, he’s just showing you the other side of the fence; his fence. the “you have no principle” statement is a BIG statement but i’m not in the position to judge him, i was not there. being idealistic deary, is fine. no, necessary for living; having something to believe in. just don’t forget that we may be the most intelligent people in the world but we also need some cash. money per se is not evil, making money and making it work for you (in the legal sense) is not bad at all. it’s the best to have principle and have money to support that principle.
